A few words for Colin Boyarski

I wouldn't expect anyone here to know him. He went to my college. He was my age. He spent a lot of time next door; my neighbor Hugh was his best friend. He stopped into my room often to use my microwave to cook his Ramen or Easy Mac. I let him. Despite seeing him frequently, I didn't even learn his name until a few weeks ago.
This morning they found his body lying face-down in a field between campus and some off-campus apartments. There's no suspicion of foul play. Likely he drank too much and passed out, then suffocated o the ground. We don't knwo why he was alone. An autopsy is being performed as we speak.
What a strange feeling this is, to mourn for someone my age. Even if I barely knew him... It's hard to say I'll miss him. But he will be missed, and his absence will trail us for the next three years.
RIP Colin Boyarski
