Now History is getting in on the show series action. They've done it before, but not with a show like Vikings.
I watched the first episode this week. Holy hell, it's pretty violent. It's like 300 without all the CG blood spatter. I wasn't expecting that from the History channel.
I couldn't help but notice how the characters seem scripted just like The Walking Dead cast. But I guess that is just standard story scripting.
I won't get into too much to avoid spoilers, but I have a feeling that a lot of people are going to be offended by this series. Thought?

Yeah, The Bible. It comes on before Vikings. It's alright.

I didn't know there were drama programmes on History, are the important scenes like the red sea parting, Mary's chat with Gabriel, and David v Goliath entirely accurate to how they actually happened or do they add in a little bit of fiction to enhance the story?

Episode 1 of the new season yesterday. I don't know why, but I just love this show. It's as if for the first time in my life I can see the things I've read about and how evolution, other than christian beliefs, started and where they tie into our own history. If anyone isn't recording this show or planing on netflixing the series, you really should.
Speaking of vikings, I was just at Icon Grill for my cousin's 40th birthday party, and the bathroom here has Flight of the Valkyries playing on an endless loop. It makes peeing into an EPIC EXPERIENCE.
Now I know what I'll do if I ever wire up every room in my home with background audio.
