Um, whoa.

Was this planned way in advance and not reconsidered in light of recent events?

This was thought up way in advance and it's gunfire, not bombs. Plus the connection is only what you make of it.

1: I will not sample M.I.A. (MIA? I'm so uncool)
2: I will not make a suicide song
3: Crap, I sold my sampler with the good gunshot sfx ;-)

Personal rules, so early? Oh my... howsabout star wars blaster fire?

This is clearly unfair and biased.

I am not an American, and hence I do not have a large arsenal of firearms readily at hand.

I believe it was the great Australian poet Brian Johnson who said:

"For those about to rock....FIRE!!!...we salute you!"

I believe Johnson is English. Eh. Same thing anyway, right Ray?

Thems fighting words, Ray. Now you should enter as something like Jefferson Roosevelt and the Homeland Insecurity, or Nixon Bush and the Fiscal Cliffjumpers.

Similar - but with sillier accents and poorer personal hygiene.

There was an actual band I recall from Sydney in the 80s called "JFK and the Cuban Crisis".
I think the singers real name was John Kennedy

My brother had two close friends in high school in the early 70s...John Kennedy and Calvin Coolidge. Calvin was my first guitar teacher. They had a hard time with authorities when they asked their names.

Got mine written. Good thing this is just Round 0, else I'd be nervous about getting eliminated.

*looks around shiftily*

Am I the only one who knows what gun/caliber bullet that they are using for their gunfire? My older brother sent me a recording from his firing range and insisted that I needed to know EVERYTHING about it... Like I care? All I need is a gun sound that isn't fake.

Now, to whip UTAU into shape.

Written and recorded a song and just holding it off sending it to give it a final listen in the day time. It all went mysteriously smoothly.

Apparently, at some point down the line I got really good at time management.

Mine is just about done.

The Tydon Docks song is halfway recorded.

I have decided on a new name away from my usual pattern.

(I will buy a bottle of wine for the first person that knows the literary reference of my new name.)

I tried to search what I could to put 2 and 2 together. But none of it adds up to any big meaning.
The closest thing to Tydon is a South African safari. Unless Tydon is a person, which would make more sense.
Docks can be hospitals, doctors, documentaries, or just simply docks that boats use to port.

You could be referring to docking or dockers (gay men who dock).

Hospitals or doctors in the South African bush?
Or.....maybe witch doctors?

That's all the time I'm whiling to invest in this, lol. :D
