I listen to the radio everyday. Mostly KROQ 106.7 new music, mostly alternative and old stuff they used to call new wave, lol. And KLOS 95.5, which is classic rock and new rock that sounds like classic rock.
Talk radio on long trips. Basically as soon as I lose my normal radio stations, it's time to get enlightened about con trails, the fed gov false flagging and tea party conspiracies, and how China is intentionally responsible for obesity and the diabetic outbreak in America. Fun stuff like that. I love crackpot radio and hearing the callers talking about the Illuminati, etc. Fricken fantastic.

*ring ring* yeah hi Alex, my name is BLT. I just wanted to say I do know aliens are among us. Last night I thought I was having sleep paralysis but was dragged into an elevator looking thing. It went up and seemed to leave our atmosphere. Next thing I knew, I was staring straight at Uranus. *

Okay SF, there's your story for the day. Now get back to work.

I listen pretty regularly while driving. I feel lucky that there are a few quality non-Clear-Channel-owned stations here in Austin. I mostly listen to 93.7 KGSR, which is a mix of light rock, alt-country, a little bit of classic rock, and some new hits. There's also 92.3 KLBJ, which plays mostly classic rock from the 70s onward, plus some current alt-rock hits. If I'm in a weird mood, I might turn on 103.5 KBPA "BOB FM" which is one of those "We play anything!" stations (they play anything, yet they seem to have an enormous bias for the 80s). And there's also a decent alternative station here, 101.5 KROX, but I find they have a shallower playlist than most of the other local stations, and I can get tired of them pretty quick.
We also have a station (as of like a year ago) that plays nothing but stand-up comedy all the time, and my wife listens to that station obsessively. I tune in sometimes, but I prefer music.

I still listen to the Radio in the car. I listen to Podcasts on my iphone when I walk to work or take public transit anywhere, and listen to Spotify at work.
My car radio presets are:
88.5 - KQED (NPR)
97.3 - KLLC (Alice - Hot Adult Contemporary)
103.7 - KOSF (Greatest Hits - 60’s, 70’s & 80's)
104.5 - KFOG (Rock)
105.5 - KITS (Alternative/modern rock)
107.7 - KSAN (The Bone - Classic Rock)

Rarely. Public radio is good but 'regular', radio is one of the great disappointments in my life. The mighty WBCN of Boston got lame in the 90s and folded. I am an iPod on shuffle guy now, primarily.

We're lucky to have 90.3 KEXP here in Seattle. It's everything radio should be: DJs with their own musical personalities crafting their own shows, highlighting tons of local and undiscovered artists. I used to listen to it every day at work until our office moved into some bizarre topographic shadow where I can't pick it up. Now, I just listen whenever I get the chance.
