QotD: How do you measure success?
Is there a pinnacle that you personally feel that you need to achieve to be successful? Do you feel like you have been successful?

I measure my success by how badly others are doing.
....not really, but that's all I could think of. It makes for a stress free lifestyle.

Well, I don't believe success to be how many toys, shiny cars, mega this-n-thats you have. I think it's more of a cosmic spirituality thing, or something like finding peace within yourself. You could be living under the bridge and still be successful, by that measure anyway.

I measure success based on how much of a difference I'm making. The work I did on the original Kindle made a HUGE difference for a lot of people. I don't feel like I've replicated that success since then. I hope I didn't peak at 29.

Every time I don't get psyched out by other people's expectations or definitions of me and stick to my own plans and determinations - I am a success. I know what I'm doing but that's hard to remember because there's lots of Very Loud Stimuli everywhere. Sometimes it starts to appear that everyone knows a LOT better than I do how to go about the business of being a Denise than I know I do during my more confident, quiet moments.
This strikes me as illogical.
