It's so quiet around the boards these days. Folks must be busy. I know Niveous is very busy.

QOTD: How do you feel about music festivals?

My favorite one is happening today through Sunday, Hardly Strictly Bluegress. It's a free festival in Golden Gate Park with tons of amazing music.

Generally though I have a hard time with huge crowds and don't often go to big music festivals.

I tend to avoid large music festivals as well, and all the ones in Seattle are pretty expensive so I feel like I wouldn't get my money's worth since I"d just show up for an hour and then feel like leaving.

Tomorrow I'm going to maybe try to do a 24-hour comic. Apparently an event is being hosted at the comic shop up the street that an ex of mine works at. So I might go there. Maybe we can do a joint comic or something.

I've never been a fan of big festivals - they're too crowded, and if you want to be close to the stage, you have to be there for hours and hours. That said, I spent a day at Bumbershoot this year...there were too many good bands on the Sunday schedule to pass it up.
