Die For Me
by Luke Henley
(note: these were all improvised, so they're not that great but I like some of the lines)
The mountain:
its plants need to grow.
And its roots,
they will not drink water.
And I know which virgin
must be broken
on the rocks.
And, "die for me"
is what the mountain cooed
in my ear.
I found no sleep on its foothills.
And my blood may
drain in a matter of minutes.
But the flowers
that I grow,
with my blood, shall last for season after season.

Die For Me
by Hope, Oath, and Suspicion (Noah McLaughlin and Mbeanis N. Alzin)
(C) 2005 Pure Greed Records
Judas hangs upon a tree
Silver coins upon the ground
Disappointment fills the air
Silver coins on the ground
Judas was the favorite son
With wine and bread he told me so
Knew his man was coming back
With wine and bread he told me so
Now won't you die for me?
Now won't you come back?
Oh poor Judas
Jesus loves you though you'd do this
And he always knew you'd sell him out
There's a mothman in Golgotha
With a rocket to the prophet's
Father's only holy house
Like the damning of Cassandra
Say a prayer for the man
With his hand in the Roman till
If I could save humanity
Could I claim insanity
And have my best friend killed?
Now won't you die for me?
Now won't you come back?
And he's still convinced
That it had to be done
For the guilt of the cross
Is the grace of the son
Now won't you die for me?
Now won't you come back?

Die For Me by Boltoph
She's so cold, and pale like the night, settling into me
in a maze and I'm a rat...and there's definitely traps
She said, "I want you to die for me"
and I've been dying ever since
but what she said, it makes no sense
Why would you want me to die, when we both want to live so high?
I think you knew that I just might, when she said:
"I want you to die for me"
well I've been dying ever since, I hope you're happy
and what you said finally makes sense to me
I think she knew I'd almost follow through
When she said, "I want you to die for me"
I think she knew
...what a mistake I might have made...

Die For Me - roymond
Lie for me
I'm not asking for your soul
can't you see
that we share the same goal?
i see through your eyes
i see what is wise
each day and each night
we'll fight for what's right
so lie for me
cry for me
it's hard to get my way
blaspheme
what certain people say
they'll tear me apart
before i can start
and say that i'm wrong
so I wrote this song
to ask you to cry for me
I'm doing my part
I follow my heart
the path is so clear
I'll bring you results
and justify votes
to plenty of cheer
now die for me
and when you're gone i'll tell
your story
how everything was swell
till evil came down
and threatened your town
you knew then and there
that i really care
so you'll die for me
you're doing your part
my pride's off the chart
i'm floating on air
my plan has begun
no matter who won
we're winning out there
I'm doing my part
I follow my heart
the path is so clear
I'll bring you results
and justify votes
to plenty of cheer
if you'll die for me
