Blue Microphones Icicle - any good?

Blue Microphones Icicle - appears to be a nice compact one-channel USB-to-XLR interface with phantom power. Has anyone used one of these? It seems like it'd take up a lot less space than any of the other compact interfaces with phantom power I've seen, and if you only need a single channel it might be nice. Also looks like you can just eschew the XLR cable and just plug it in directly into a mic.
Anyone have any thoughts on this? I'd like to be able to travel with a decent mic without having to also carry around a bulky interface and a bunch of cables. (It would have been really nice for something on this trip to my parents' place...)
