Since travel is always a monster (tickets, saving money, and the like), I figured it would be good to start the conversation. So, where should the biggest concert of the Songfight year be?

If it is a cheap direct flight from Brisbane (i.e. LA or SF) - I will say I'm in now.
Elsewhere or otherwise - it will depend what I can organise beforehand on OK Cupid.

I like the idea of LA or San Diego!
We need the So Cal Song Fighters to host.
I also like the idea of Oakland, Berkeley, Santa Cruz.
Who can get a good venue and host is the real question.

Don't we have Portland people? That seems like the major city we haven't done yet on the West Coast. Isn't Portland where it's at these days anyway?

And I have a friend who lives in the Portland area whom I would like to catch up with. Also, I don't think would be a hard sell to my near hippie wife. (or is it hippy? You know, the Whole Foods kind...)

Ooh, good call. We did do a couple of Left Coast Tour shows in Portland but never a full show. If we can get one of the Portlandians to step up that'd be awesome.

Just sent a FB message to Rabs to see if he can sort Portland. That would be cool. Though LA or SF would still be cheaper for me

If it's in Portland, call it Song Fight: Picky and Wiki. Picky because many of you guys have guitars and you use picks, and Wiki because WikiWikiWeb, the first wiki site, six years before Wikipedia, was founded in Portland.
