Hitchhikers, Star Wars(Booked my tickets today, woo), Batman Begins, War of the Worlds, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
HHGG is just really fun so I'm interested to see what they do with it.
Star Wars is a given, as, y'know, it's Star Wars. That and pretty costume design makes me happy. (It's been very hard not to look at the Art Of book in Barnes and Noble)
Batman Begins is becasue I'm intrigued to see how it comes together.
War Of The Worlds is fun and... yeah, I just wanna see it.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory... Johnny Depp + Chocolate + Songs + Awesome Design = One Veeeeery Happy Bjam.

Doom has been postponed to October 21. It will run against Steve Martin's Shopgirl and the Strangers with Candy movie. Also, the Pink Panther remake (with Martin) comes out 8/5.

Isn't Doom directed by Uwe Boll? Talk about Doomed. Heh.

I wanna see Hitchhikers, BNB, Charlie, and after perusing this list, the Batman movie.
In other news, fricking Uwe Boll.

I'm really looking forward to the Devil's Rejects. Like a lot. I adore nihilistic murderfest movies.

Batman Begins
The Honeymooners (even though from the trailer it doesn't seem to have anything that made the honeymooners good.)
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Hustle & Flow
Doom

Holy fucking bad idea. I had heard nothing about this.
My picks? Hitchiker's Guide, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Batman Begins (possibly), War of the Worlds (though I smell an I, Robot licensing disaster from the previews)... Doom for a laugh, maybe. It would have been much more amusing if it turned the game's "plot" into an actual story, though.
I have heard nothing about Brothers Grimm, but I have been out of the loop. Hearing that it's Gilliam I'll have to put that on my list just above Batman Begins and only slightly behind the first two.

Hitchhiker's
Unleashed
Star Wars
Batman Begins
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Most of the ones on your list I know very little about and might become more interested as I see trailers, reviews, and other bits of info.

The movies that aren't blockbusters that I'm looking forward to the most:
• Madagascar
• Herbie: Fully Loaded
• Wedding Crashers
• Unleashed
The movies I think (at the moment) are going to be complete shit:
• XXX: State of the Union
• The Adventures of Shark Boy & Lava Girl
• The Bad News Bears (UNLESS it's PG-13)
• Kingdom of Heaven
• Mindhunters
• Monster-in-Law
• Cinderella Man
• The Honeymooners
• Fantastic Four
• Into the Blue
• The Island
• Stealth
• Doom
• The Dukes of Hazzard
• Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo
• The Cave
• The Skeleton Key
Some of the others on the list I haven't seen enough press for to make a judgement.
Of those shit movies, the ones I think I'll enjoy anyway:
• XXX: State of the Union
• Into the Blue
• The Adventures of Shark Boy & Lava Girl
• The Island
• The Cave
The ones which will break my heart if they suck:
April 29, 2005
• The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
• Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
• Batman Begins
• War of the Worlds
• Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

• Monster-in-Law
• Cinderella Man
• The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
• The Honeymooners
• The Devil's Rejects
• The Perfect Man
• Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo
• Four Brothers

I think Mindhunters has been finished and sitting on the shelf for, like, three years now. The preview makes it seem like a bit of dorky fun, but it feels more like March dorky fun than summer dorky fun. I am looking forward to The Island too, Michael Bay notwithstanding. The premise is kind of entertaining and faux-topical.

Have you seen the preview? It looks pretty funny. Billy Bob seems to be back on Bad Santa mode, and it has the same writers, which can only be a good thing.

The preview looks pretty promising. From what I've heard, there seems to be a good balance between staying true to the original and updating it enough so that the characters behaviors shock (well, tittilate) the audiences in 2005 as much as racial slurs, underage drinking and girls who cheat at baseball did back in the 70s. If they find a good bunch of kids who are both cartoonish and yet somehow completely believable, then this could be good.
Maybe.

Yeah, that's pretty much the only way TBNB isn't going to be horrible is if they let BB be BB in BS mode.

Man, get ready for heartbreak. I won't go off on that rant again.
Otherwise, I am totally on that page. I really just can't wait for some of these, and I don't usually feel that way about movies (exceptions being, say, LOTR). I am not ready to be blown away by War of the Worlds, but my research has been limited to theater trailers. Batman Begins impressed me because it didn't look like a made-for-TV film for preteens, as all the recent films have. They didn't even have camp value. Any halfway-watchable Batman film would, at this point, be such a relief after this extended dry spell that I'd check it out in theaters.

Well isn't Begins directed by Christopher Nolan? The day he stoops to pre-teen entertainment is the day I cry into my popcorn.

I just noticed that this is the only Star Wars movie with a
PG-13 rating. Maybe Anakin will say 'fuck'... once.

It means the dark side's gonna be freaking bringing it. I mean, they cut Darth Maul in half in Ep I, so what're they gonna do with a bigger(older? better? bad asser?) rating? It makes my fangirl inside happy. If Lucas doesn't screw up anyway.
