i want to again really thank all you guys for doing this. it really was an incredible gesture. and thanks to anyone that took the time to listen to them too.

i'm going to a huge, pre-Burning Man party in the santa cruz mountains this weekend and i'm doing the sound for the house band. i burned a CD of these tunes and i'm going to play it between sets. and i'm going to burn as many copies as i can to give out to people. so maybe upwards of 200 folks will be bopping to your tunes this saturday. be bopping. yeah. :)

Heh yeah I had fun with that part. I got the feeling that the lyrics were transcripts of letters sent back and forth between spalding grey and some grim penpal. I like the idea of him typing these thoughts and mailing them off and waiting for an equally morbid response.

Mr. McHxaro would like to send mad props and thanks to everyone who either played along, listened or both! I'm really jazzed at the high calibre of work eveyone did! (not hard tho, considering the quality of the original material...)

This was awesome fun to do for sure, made even more so by each of you. Thanks again, see you all sometime soon!

i love you guys.

it really is cool how the hxaro brings out the best in people. in their music. in their attitudes. in the community. i never expected to receive such a gift, though i love doing these just the same. and having experienced the receiving end, it motivates me to want to do more.

you guys all impress the hell out of me. i am so grateful.

Great stuff! You are most worthy. (Now, wouldn't it be nice to see that group of performers in a regular Songfight?)

I would only suggest a challenge if it was possible for it to happen.
