Salt Lake City!

(I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, hard not to pick that one).

So many good songs! Good Vibrations is obvious but it might be my favorite song by the Beach Boys that's not about my home town. Anything on Pet Sounds is fantastic too.
Phillipso, Older Brothers, Semolina Pilchards, Zipline , Thank Glennny for the Frisbee, The Odoriferous Valley, The Worldly Self Assurance, Berkeley Social Scene, Very Gentle Knives, Daddy Bop Swing Set, GUNS, The Kraken Lives, Cavedwellers

"God Only Knows" seems a little too obvious, but there you have it. I agree that anything off Pet Sounds is a good pick.

And for your amusement, here's "Cease to Exist" by Charles Manson. The Beach Boys stole it from him and renamed it, and when Manson threatened Dennis Wilson over it, Wilson beat the shit out of him.

"Good Vibrations" might be the obvious answer, but to me, it's the only right one.

I've never been the biggest Beach Boys fan. I like their songs but there are only a few that I adore. The main one being "God Only Knows".

"Pet Sounds" shouldn't even count towards the "Beach Boys" since it's such a departure and feels like a Brian Wilson solo project with guest appearances from the other "Beach Boys" :-) But anyway, those songs are all my favorites and "I Just Wasn't Made for these Times" is *the* favorite of the bunch...

Love the BBs

God Only Knows is not only their best song. It is possibly anybody's best song

I really enjoy the whole Smiley Smile album (yes, the 1967 one). I like the loose feeling of that one better than Pet Sounds, which is so perfect it almost hurts (still a great album, of course, with my favorite tracks being Wouldn't It Be Nice and God Only Knows).
My favorite song off Smile/Smiley Smile... um, "Vegetables", I think. I really like that one.

I am pretty sure I am the biggest Beach Boys fan here. I've been to more than a dozen concerts. I call "Back Home".

"Don't Worry Baby" is the one I just thought of. Once I saw them in concert, after a baseball game (Buffalo Bisons). Good show. Front row seats!
