Complain about your schedule. Apparently people like that sort of thing.

I love the band so much more than those with the Cure aesthetic in High School.
The Cure is my wife's favorite band. They get referenced a lot in our house.
Caterpillar is a contender.
As far as seeing them live I think "Push" is amazing. They are a great live band and at their best in a stadium.
I love the production of "Close to Me".
10:15 on a Saturday Night? Fire in Cairo? Love Cats? There are dozens of Cure songs I love.

might be obvious

In Between Days is my pick.
Phillipso, Older Brothers, Semolina Pilchards, Zipline , Thank Glennny for the Frisbee, The Odoriferous Valley, The Worldly Self Assurance, Berkeley Social Scene, Very Gentle Knives, Daddy Bop Swing Set, GUNS, The Kraken Lives, Cavedwellers

Completely agree with Glenny in that there are too many good songs. I'm going to have to say "Pictures of You".

I could listen to The Cure all day...

I echo the sentiments of the posters before me. I love the Cure. They influenced my songwriting in big ways. I'm not going to list honorable mentions as I'd be here all day. For my choice, I'm between "Untitled" and "To Wish Impossible Things".

By a narrow margin, I'm going with To Wish Impossible Things. "It was the sweetness of your skin/ It was the hope of all we might have been/ That fills me with the hope to wish impossible things". Just amazing.

So have we now covered every band for which there's been a sidefight?

Anyway, yeah, way too many to mention. "Torture" from Kiss Me x3 is way up there. "A Forest" is an obvious choice for me, I did that in the sidefight. "Push" is a great pick. "Killing An Arab" sort of got me hooked, as it were. The Join The Dots set has some great b-sides and stuff, like "Scared As You", "The Big Hand" and the always mind-blowing "Splintered In Her Head." "Us Or Them" from the self-titled 2004 album.

And I absolutely love Pornography. The album, I mean.

And Depeche Mode?

I never got into The Cure, but I'll be downloading every song mentioned here, at least, to give them a shot. I had two songs on my computer before it went kaput this week, "Just Like Heaven" (Cure 101) and some other song that I liked a lot more but can't remember the name.

OK, it looks like there have been some sidefight artists that have not yet produced DRCs. Neil Diamond, Deretch Mode, INXS, Eagles, (P)Residents, Devo, Minutemen...

Some of those may be a bit obscure for a DRC, although Devo would be a nice one.
