Oops, this one slipped by me. It's probably the enduring crowd favorite, but there aren't many songs (by anyone, ever) that can top "Me and Bobby McGee."

I don't really have a favorite song of hers for songwriting specifically, but I love that she wrote a bitter anti-consumerist rant in the form of "Mercedes Benz" (right before her death!) which Mercedes Benz has used several times in some completely tone-deaf commercials.
These are just the ones I could find quickly on YouTube - I know there's been several others that I saw on TV as well.
