I think almost everyone needs to be a little more cautious and objective when making assumptions about serious criminal accusations, even when you're just blabbing about media figures. This kinda goes without saying, Sparks. But thanks for saying it anyway. But no one ever says it. I mean, it's not...

Right. But these are real people, too. The reult of that thinking is that we play into the eact kind of process that condemns innocent individuals by uneducated mob decision. And to start, we're orking with whatever hand the media deals us on the topic. It's pathetic. There's plenty of halfay intell...

Like there was ever ANY chance he would be convicted. Guilty as hell, rich and famous as hell. Yeah. I mean, we shouldn't even bother to imagine it was because there wasn't a credible case... It's not like trials actually involve facts, argument, and plausible deniability. It's all about celebrity ...

We'll try and catch you either at the Black Cat or the Talking Head. They're both pretty cheap venues, and it'd be nice to support our local(national) songfighter.

Looks like Boston might be iffy for me, due to some scheduling problems that've come up. Thanks and apologies to anyone (worm) who may've already started bits I asked for help with, but I imagine it's still early for that to've been an issue. I'll drop a line if anything changes, but it's starting t...

Say, it wasn't enough to emulate Yorke's music, he had to take a stab at that style of political commentary, too. "You know, the only real problem with the world is money. Blah blah blah, idealism, blah blah."

I don't think Song Fight! has ever had any aspirations to own the copyright to SF material.

And I think there is some basis by which live covers aren't considered copyright infringement. Some "artist's interpretation" nonsense, isn't there? I'm sure it's been ruled on.

I like how your post is formatted like an Ebay item description.

That's all I have to say about this, though. I've used up my nevada quota for the day, and am likely already in enough trouble.

WTOP today had an interview with Rumsfeld, who was (by whom I can't guess) once imagined as a possible Deep Throat due to his close involvement with the party at the time. I find that pretty amusing.

I could be wrong but I've seen all the 'apes' films, and am pretty sure that Heston is only in the first sequel, Beneath, so 'or any sequel' is misleading ...j$ Since the thread is about Charlon Heston, surely 'any sequel' must refer to the sequels he was in and is thus not misleading  I can'...

Re Lovecraft - up until the Summer, I would have been sounding his trumpet here, but I re-read almost all of it in July/August, and for the first time it struck me how bad the writing is ... not the stories, which are wild and clever imagination-wise, but the actual structuring and pacing is more t...

And after those SUPER amazing saber battles... I realized that Darth and Obi's battle in "new hope" sucked total ass. haha, i was thinking the same thing. but they were both old in ep IV, that's what i tell myself. i really enjoyed it, it had a few lines of dialogue that turned my stomach...

I'm sorry, but let me get this straight: after seeing the first two you walked into this one with high expectations? Or even "normal" expectations? Or anything other than lowest of low expectations? Because if you did, I wouldn't be telling other people they are the ones in denial. I walk...

Agreed, Darth Vader's 'NOOOOO!' made me cringe a little bit. I thought that was funny. The crap line was "Hold me like you held me by the lake on Naboo!" There were more crap lines but that one was hilariously awful. As crap lines go, I was rather fond of the whole: "You did it becau...

2. So you really think that everybody who enjoyed the movie is in some sort of denial? Basically. I'm sure there are inexperienced kids out there who saw the movie and just didn't know better than to think it was great, but that aside I don't see how anyone with a full and honest approach to themse...

I thought it was excellent. If you can't enjoy this movie, you don't want to enjoy this movie. It's 1000 times better than the last two and I think probably better than ROTJ.
