TuesdayFight! Returns in February!

Post by Lord of Oats »

A prefight, if you will. I will host skirmishes during this month. Discuss here. Good times for you, good days of the week, good lengths of time to work on songs, if you'd like to volunteer to generate titles (I'm squeamish but will do it) or challenges. Otherwise, you will come to know fights at 8 p.m. EST on the otherwise unremarkable of Tuesday. But hey, weekends are possible, man. Whatever.

This is mostly for the FAWMers that seem to have expressed interest, but anyone is welcome! You'll be surprised at how much you can do in so little time! Come to TuesdayFight! Where Tuesday means something for a change!

Taco Tuesdays. It would be really cool if I could get a lawn chair, ice chest full of beer, and watch everyone do their songs, like Iron Chiefs. Then after they are done, I get to listen to them and review them with my mouth not matching the my words, like an old Bruce Lee movie.
....I like the intro.....but theee guitar was...a bit earthy....

Dude, that would be awesome. I'll see what I can do about a streaming video feed.

Alright, sorry, folks. No reservations were made, so the fight is off.

At best, I was on the fence about it. I do need to do a couple more RPM songs, and I hope to spend time on that tonight. But I'm not sure if a frenzy is the best way to go about it. (Knowing me, I'd probably have said whatthehell and done it anyway.)

I probably would have tried to go ahead with this, but the scheduling was no longer working out for me. My life's going in a bit of a weird and unpredictable direction at the moment, so that's that. If there'd been more (any?) interest, I'd have tried harder to keep the commitment. But I'm certainly not afraid to swallow my pride and call it off if no one's going for it. I'm not really itching for a skirmish, myself. I'm moreso finding myself wanting to try to powerhouse through the rest of FAWM and then covering a bunch of songs next month.

So I missed a lot in the few years I was gone... are TuesdayFights always an hour long, like SongSkirmishes? Because from the name, it just sounds like you write and record a song during Tuesday.

Oh well.
