Hi all! Heard about SF from the boards at FAWM. I was going to check you out "sometime", and it finally happened a week or so ago.
I was griping with my ex-husband about recording software, and he complained that the current SF hook was "shoestring soup" [sic] and that he couldn't think of an idea he didn't hate.
I thought, "Shoestring Soup? I have an idea I don't hate," and emailed him a lyric within an hour. We discussed collaboration, then decided to "songfight" instead. Nothing like one-upping your ex to provide a little motivation! So here I am. Looks like fun so far. I voted on the "tanks", too, to get into the swing of things.
Elaine

Hi again all and thanks for the welcome! @Spud, there's an auto-Bday thingie? Nice.
FYI, I don't play guitars at all. If you hear guitars, then I've borrowed a guitarist from their real life for half a day, showed them a lead sheet and some scratch tracks. Then probably I dragged the mic stands over to their amps, set the levels, and sang bits of the song to them while they were figuring out what the hell to play, hoping we could get something recorded before they had to go home. I like to "collaborate".
