Re: Nur Ein IV: Round Zero
I'm probably overstepping the mark here, but I'd assume that Niv would welcome any files sent direct to him by any or all competitors who were unable to host/store files elsewhere themselves...
...I've been using FileDen myself for quite a while, it's free, you can link direct to the files ans it seems as if you get oodles of storage space, only thing you need to do is log in once a month or thereabouts (they send you a reminder as well!).

Re: Nur Ein IV: Round Zero
So, we have until midnight tonight, right? (I'm not kidding--all that bantering never seemed to produce any clarification.)
I'm in. Just have to write the lyrics and record the vocals and learn how to whistle.
Niv, do you want links or files? People are confused.

This year I DO have my own host. And I don't even have to check in or worry about the songs ever being deleted (usually). Thank you Spudly Wuddly.

Re: Nur Ein IV: Round Zero
My understanding was that the songs are due tonight (for those of us in America and Canada, etc.). Not to stir up trouble, but perhaps Spud has the right idea, and the due dates/times would be easier for people to understand if they were, for example, Sunday, April 19th, at 11:59PM? I hadn't thought it was that problematic until yesterday, when someone I know told me they were planning to work on a song Monday night, and I had to be the bearer of bad news...

Re: Nur Ein IV: Round Zero
Jiminy cricket on a hot plate! I'm blown away by all the confusion.
Let me see if I can clarify everything.
- The songs are due tonight, less than 12 hours from now.
- Send me a copy of the song. I'm hosting.
- If you send me a link to your song, that's okay. I'm just going to download it and put it on my own webspace anyway.
Any other NE4 questions?

Re: Nur Ein IV: Round Zero
I almost forget the yearly picture request. If you make it into Round one, I need a pic of you for the website. If you are the camera shy type, you can just send your band logo. If you don't send a pic, I will just hunt one down from the web.

Oh, and do you prefer a certain file naming convention?

I don't worry about naming conventions much. If there's a problem with your naming, I'll let you know.

Re: Nur Ein IV: Round Zero
I got an idea at 9pm tonight. Two hours later a song is written and recorded. I didn't really plan to do this, but you can't ignore inspiration.
