this is fucking awsome.

puce: you are one sick MOFO, you make it look and sound too easy.

Jim: your rendition of the cancer song, is beautiful and gets the point across, very well.

rachel and Glenn: all 3 songs are great, but secrets was a bit in slow tempo, & i think it would of sound it better just a tad faster.

TVIYH: this is the best song from you i'd hear yet, even if most of it is a pretty well known song. its amazing how close, your vocals sound to the original original song...(how was my spelling?? no spellcheck...yeah..)

JBB: very well done.

DeshHead: this is too fucking cool.. enough said.

blackhat: (chack/leaf ??)
this sounds like it could of come out, from the GOO GOO DOLLS 1990 "hold me up" albume. you have to listen to it and the resemblance might make the hair behind your neck stand up.
would love to see you guys submit more stuff like this weekly as backhat.

erik: never really put that much attention to your songs, but now that they have been brough into another light, i have to say, your are pretty good songwriter.

i'll probrally end up, burning all these to a compalatio CD,

Sober...who is drumming on your track? I'm digging it. It's kinda wacky and very campy... sounds like it should be part of Caberet or Chicago... yeah. Like it.

All these are absolutely fantastic. No kidding. Glenn Case, you did an amazing cover of Left/Right. They're all amazing. Everyone should learn from you all.

Leaf: That's me drumming. I'm quite flattered. The drums were picked up with one sm58 overhead. What you hear was the second take. I don't have any real crashes, which sucks. I have an ass-y china and an 8' splash. My ride is a cheapo ride/crash thing that performs neither function very well. I do like how my toms sound.

I've been playing drums for... a month?

I suck.

The entry for Black Hat's "Funny Enough for You" has been updated with Leaf's drums and better vocals. This is the final version. I'm very much happier with it.

eight foot splash...yeah, that might actually qualify as a gong... therefore I conclude that the ASSY CHINA and EIGHT FOOT SPLASH are in fact the same piece of equipment. I wanna know how he got it past the front door of his apartment.

Ian: This looks absolutely perfect. I mean it's, uh, the right proportions. It'll be this color right?

Artist: Yeah. Yeah.

Ian: Yeah. That's...that's...that's just terrific. It almost looks like the real thing.

Artist: You got it.

Ian: When we get the actual, uh, set, when we get the piece, it'll...it'll follow exactly these specifications. I mean even these contours and everything?

Artist: Um, I'm not understanding it. What do you mean "the actual piece?"

Ian: Well I mean...I mean when you build the actual piece.

Artist: But this is what you asked for, isn't it?

Ian: What?

Artist: Well this is the piece.

Ian: This is the piece?

Artist: Yes.

Ian: Are you telling me that this is it? This is scenery? Have you ever been to Stonehenge?

Artist: No, I haven't been to Stonehenge.

Ian: The triptychs are...the triptychs are twenty feet high. You can stand four men up them!

Artist: Ian, I was...I was...I was supposed to build it eighteen inches high.

Ian: This is insane. This isn't a piece of scenery.

Artist: Look, look. Look, this is what I was asked to build. Eighteen inches. Right here, it specifies eighteen inches. I was given this napkin, I mean...

Ian: Forget this! Fuck the napkin!!!
