What is your favorite Lou Reed song?
(This does not include Velvet Underground as they had their own day.)
(This shouldn't include the songs from "Lulu" just because.)

Walk on the Wild Side
This may be the obvious answer, but it's one of my all time favorite songs. That bass line! Sliding up on one string while sliding down on another, it's gorgeous and brilliant.
My favorite performance was on that show "Sunday Night" hosted by David Sanborn. Sanborn takes the sax solo at the end and nails it.
The Berlin album in its entirety would be another answer. Especially The Kids.
If you haven't heard Berlin, it is a must!
Oddly enough my least favorite Lou Reed was his first solo record, where Yes was pretty much his band. It just didn't work.
Lou is a favorite. I probably listen to Lou or VU on. Weekly basis.
Walk on the Wild Side ( obvious)
The Kids ( a little obscure)

Honorable mention to Perfect Day, Satellite of Love, and Vicious, I have to go with the first track off the first Lou Reed record I ever owned, New York.

Hard to pick from Transformer, really. Probably Perfect Day, but Andy's Chest, and Satellite are right there.
