Re: I drink alone because (I'd Rather Drink With The Devil reviews)

In all seriousness though, this really is about Owl & Vom, and JB/Ken/Sam/Futureboy, I honestly was mostly incidental to those two groups of people being magical

Wow, well first of all I’d like to thank Satan, without whom none of this would be possible. A toast!

(In this case, Satan is some mixture of Sam, Futureboy, Ken, JB, Owl, and Vom)

Re: I drink alone because (I'd Rather Drink With The Devil reviews)

Liner notes from my perspective: Moody Vermin: Evermind had the idea to do a Tool homage, it's his mix and his bassline, so give him all the props. Roy put in the usual brilliant work with loops to make a euphonious cacophony. I was just saying to those guys that if we were to redo the song, I would...

Re: Don't look now... (Miss Lovely Eyes reviews)

Quick Moody Vermin liner notes: when I came up with this herky jerky riff, it automatically told me it was a Moody Vermin riff, super fun to play, not that fun to try to program drums to as it turns out, but also I'm just not that great at it. The little lick at the end of the main riffs is somethin...

Yes, The N'Stuff song is in fact going to be the theme song of a released direct to Pluto TV VOD movie, a knockoff 90s teen rom com starring whoever are the 2021 versions of Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze

Re: Pictures from when (I Was A Child Model reviews)

Moody Vermin liner notes: Due to a variety of circumstances, this was a song that was put together basically at the last minute, Evermind having the idea and the core tracking, and then I recorded a series of guitar layers, including eBow and slide, but everything with just a silly amount of effects...

Re: You can only avoid (Potential Consequences reviews)

spite liner notes Ever since Vom bought new fuzz pedals, we've been talking about fuzz guitar music, and this fight happened to be the opportunity for a collab between Owl, Vom, and myself. I had been listening to A Place to Bury Strangers a lot recently because all that fuzz talk reminded me of my ...

Re: From Grey to Gandalf (The White Morph reviews)

I didn’t have time to review this week but a few liner notes for Moody Vermin: I primarily wrote the riffs and the guitar for the song this time, which was a conscious choice to combine elements of Megadeth and Helmet, as two disparate metal bands I like. Thus the sort of Symphony of Destruction ver...
