Re: Last warning: (Please Scream Inside Your Heart reviews)

Brown Word and the Big Whine - Those opening notes make me think I’m about to hear “happy happy joy joy”. This is another entry in your canon that falls pretty squarely in the “protest” category. I feel like I need to go fight the power after listening to this. I like the relative simpleness of the ...

Re: Good Trouble

Phlebia Stuck out here all alone You left us on our own The ones in positions of power don't care about us You can't rule a nation by sowing discord and distrust Pour bleach in my eyes so I can see A light in the shadows, a beacon at sea To take what's obscured and reveal it to me We're anticipatin...

Re: Niv and the Exploration

Hmm, that could definitely do it. I always found the idea of doing multiple titles in one week kind of daunting -- seems like trying to do all of them would be a good way to get a lot of kind of half-assed songs. But then again that's just me. I guess our intrepid Niveous will be finding out firstha...

Why was there such a massive influx? I didn't show up until 06, but it looks like it didn't really drop off until around 2010...

Re: Last warning: (Please Scream Inside Your Heart reviews)

Semen Priest : This is a lot of noise. AND IT IS VERY LOUD!!! Thanks for keeping it short. Is it all guitar or are there other elements? Ha, there are vocals and drums too! The vocals are the "URRBRRBRRR" bit and the drums are just kind of there blasting away. Technically it's a bass guitar, for mo...

Re: Covering random songs from the archive

So I've been sitting on the finished music for this for a couple weeks now. I had a guitar part to learn and do for a buddy, but im really waiting for a night when its not 105 degrees in my studio and that i can properly motivate to do the vocals for this. Motivate meaning drink booze. Ken, please ...

Yeah, one of the many reasons I changed monikers. I was 18, gimme a break
Yeah, there are reasons why I haven't gone back to any of my mid 00s names and nearly all of them have to do with being a teenager at the time.

Re: Niv and the Exploration

I'm giggling because you mention the creepy guy who made the song calling people out by name...I thought about trying to get the real names of people and doing the exact same thing for a fight at one point but decided it would be too creepy. Good, someone else did it!

Re: Face down in a mud puddle (Floating Away Reviews)

crumpart: Ha, I actually had you in mind when I submitted the song. I got to remembering your review of "I Used To Know You Better", which I think started off with "TOO SLOW AND SAD". I knew you'd probably not like it at all, but I'm glad you liked it a little bit more than the last one! I do see wh...

Re: Face down in a mud puddle (Floating Away Reviews)

Lots of unfamiliar names this fight! I got new earbuds with better bass response, so I may notice a lot of that this week. ----- Balance Lossed - Ooh, I LOVE those underwater sounding synth sounds that make up the main backdrop of this track. And that synth bassline that’s driving the background of ...

Re: Another black eye (I Had It Coming reviews)

Phlebia - really like those drums, i'm still not sure if this is supposed to be the katamari style song, I don't really remember a song like this in that game, but it's been forever since i've played through all the stages. this is kind of psychedelic and trippy, especially when your spoke word sty...
