Ok, everyone. After you finish your song, you need to either:

A: upload it to your own server and post a link here and/or send a link to me at tychojim at fastmail dot fm

OR

B: email me your actual song. Do this only if you have no other alternative, because I'm running low on email bandwidth.

After all of the entries are collected, we'll create a poll, and I'll make a webpage where you can find all of the songs easily.

NOTICE: THERE ARE NO REQUIREMENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN SONGSKIRMISH.

Jesus. All you have to do is make your song within the allotted hour. Pretty simplex0rz.

When you're done, post a link here, and everything will be ok.

Alrighty then I may be in. The only issue I have is I have no way of posting it cuz I don't have web space. Can I send you the mp3 to post for me? PinV works during the skirmish and he is the holder of our webspace. Never got into it, but might soon.

I wanted it, but lyrics got a better of me. I'll use the nify li'l instrumental track I've made, however, for something in the near future. By the way, I did like this title, otherwise I wouldn't have even tried it.

That served for a fun little break in my Idiot Kings recording...

Crazy Crazy Monkey by J$

It’s never Santa, not the Easter bunny
Who’s sitting on the sidewalk, acting all funny
No it’s that crazy monkey who’s gonna make you laugh

Mum was a human and his dad was well, just dad

Wearing only fez, a bow tie and a nappy
He’s swigging from a bottle and he’s looking far from happy
Holding up a cardboard sign that says ‘I used to be a giraffe’

Crazy crazy monkey brother, crazy crazy ha ha ha!

He used to be so sad but then his lady monkey said
I’ll serve you up for dinner and then we can be wed

Crazy Crazy Monkey
------------------
Octothorpe

Jacque is a monkey.
He has a red felt hat.

He used to peddle goods.
And so much more then that.

He liked to inspect string.
But now he has a new habit.

Making old men scream.
And now the monkey laughs.

[Chorus]
People though he'd gone away.
But the tale is untold.

He has a red and orange scarf.
And he brought his own lunch.

Call the mental asylum.
Get the straight jacket.

Don't let him think you are watching.
Crazy Monkey can explode.
[End Chorus]

William used to buy things.
And the monkey would persue.

Now they laugh and chew together.
Conflict no longer occurs.

But there are victims to the two.
The William and Monkey zoo.

Manipulation is a tool.
But the plans are demented.

[Chorus]

They both get captured.
The people leave the zoo.

Jacque will try again.
And the William does ensue.

Deep in the asylum.
With the proper clearance too.

The monkey starts again.
And the laughter is heard through.
