Complain about your schedule. Apparently people like that sort of thing.

Congrats Fluf. I know it's a group type project, but congrats on your part.

QOTD:
[Spud]Reading is for pussies.[/Spud]

I can't sit down, or stand up for that matter, and read a book for entertainment, like read a fictional story for example. I do read manuals, or how to type books. I do love audio books when I'm driving anywhere over 30 minutes, but that's only if I'm in a car without a DVD player or I don't feel like listening to music.

I like reading. I don't get as much time for it as I like. I generally read non-fiction, often science or history-of-science, related.

How many books on that do you need? You just put your fingers on the keys and push them. It's not that hard.

You gotta love the English language. This is a great example of 'why I mis-use apostrophes' to 'emphasize' what I mean in sentences that would otherwise 'be confusing'.

Yes, and I really enjoy pointing out the vagaries of the language, it's so fun.

I've never read an electronic book. I generally only read non-fiction. I used to read a lot more than I do now. This device may be the perfect way for me to get back into it. Unfortunately, the iPod is still higher on my list of things to get. Higher still is a condenser mic. Eeek.

My understanding (I had nothing to do with that side of things) is that it was designed by some guy who used to work for Apple before Apple hired Jonathan Ive to not suck. He was given free reign, and nobody reviewed or refined it.

It's ugly in photos but in person it's... well, it's still kind of ugly, but it's also very usable and transparent. You don't really notice it after you've read a few pages. It's sort of like the Toyota Echo - at first it looks fugly but once you've been in one it sort of grows on you.

You have been totally brainwashed. The thing is not ugly just because people say it is. It is only ugly by the shiny but totally boring round cornered standards set by Mr. Jobs and his minions.

I find it rather attractive. However, I have had to study many photos and watch the video to come to that conclusion. I suspect it does not photograph well.

Unlike the iGadgetoftheday, its geometry and imagery seems to come more from this than this. And of that, I approve.
