I have music and lyrics, made a scratch track to practice to. If my FUCKING UPSTAIRS NEIGHBOR would EVER LEAVE THE FUCKING HOUSE, I'd be able to record it properly and be in this.

I mean, seriously. Sharing a house sucks. I think he's spending EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY FUCKING DAY at home JUST TO BE DIFFICULT. (did you see what I just did there?)

Also, if I do get this done, I must warn you all- it's a sappy acoustic sad song.

Would you rather I just make songs that sound like Matthew Sweet.

Of course. Your upstairs neighbour IS matthew sweet. Do you know how much I have to pay in insurance to get him to live in Canada?

EDIT: Actually in answer to your question (although it's not a question as they seem not to have question marks where you live) I would rather you made songs that sound like Klownhole with Matthew Sweet singin', which IMO is when you are at your absolute best. And that's the only compliment I'll ever pay you. Enjoy it - one more than I give most!

If it's a sappy acoustic song, you could just record it quietly, and it wouldn't bother your neighbour.

Well, the music is acoustic, the vocals are grindcore. Probably.

Seriously, I'm not concerned about bothering my neighbor. I just can't sing when someone else is in the house. (many would argue that I can't sing, period, but that's neither here nor there)

It all boils down to me needing a studio. This place is too small to convert to one and still be able to live here.

Anybody want to post some lyrics in the archive? I'm in the mood to burgle.

I'm going to try and join in for my first songfight. I've got to finish a tune for my blog tomorrow first. Funny cause I saw and old songfight that's the same title - King Me. Looks like I'm late to the party with that one.
my blog, http://wednesdayssong.wordpress.com/ features a new song every Wednesday.

the idiot kings are in for this one.

i got stuck lyrically and used heuristic, inc.'s songfight idea generator. i chose to write about an obscure historical event...

Rio Mondo is in! We're back from the dead ... again! I even posted this in the right place for once, so now maybe a few less people will hate me!

I'm really struggling with lyrics on this one, but I'm still trying.

Thanks a lot man! Lyrics have never been a Rio Mondo strong point, because of said struggling, so good luck to you good sir!

To fürrypedro"
We have got some pretty face-melting guitaring going on as well, and I do suppose our chorus could be described as "Catchy".
