Complain about your schedule. Apparently people like that sort of thing.

all my final mp3 mixes are kept in at least three places
I'd recommend pre-mastered WAV mixes instead of the mp3s.
I actually keep all of my project files. But the problem I'm running into is space limitations.

Whenever I do finally get some extra income, I'll be buying another computer and some large drives.

Yeah, different entities have different FYs. Ours is Jul - Jun, which is not uncommon.

We switched back to calendar years last year, which makes all the sense in the world to me. But I guess the finance guys (and gals) don't like the tax season issues. I just figure, if you're talking about 2008, call it 2008, don't redefine what a year is, especially when everyone else is redefining their years. That's just crazy.

I was wondering if the Northern Hemisphere had financial years!

We have one, fairly obviously - because everone goes on holidays over Christmas - and from about mid-Dec to early Feb everyone is in holiday mode and it is too bloody hot to do tax returns and shit.
