Hahaha!...you know, your sig may not say trouble stick JB.... but that don't mean you ain't.
I'm getting set to do some recording tonight...thank you that this one isn't due until Friday.... I'm going for a tribute to the great Red Kelly, who skated for the Bruins and the....DUM DUM. The Leafs. Yep. The songfight gods have blessed me with the opportunity to do a tribute to a Great Canadian hockey player... number 23 on the Hockey New's 50 greatest players of all time... or was that 26? No matter, I'll look it up... I got absolutely no ideas for this yet, which I suppose is the best part!!
...ok...finish spagetti sauce....feed kids....lay down something.
dear heather, thank you for totally making my night!
a few days ago i was wondering where the redom clan had disappeared to, because i hadn't heard anything out of either of you in ages!!
Me and the Missus have been under a pretty constant barrage of the ol' "RL" lately, leaving little time or energy for rulin' the internet with an iron fist.
Things starting to mellow out again, so, uh, th' Redmons are back.
And: Abominominous fully intends to win "Red Skates."
I have an idea for "Red Skate" (singular), and I might go ahead and record it anyway... was hoping we'd have our monthly Songwriter Showcase at school this week and I could even try a live version, but it's too close to finals week, none of the teachers want to be the responsible adult in charge...
Anyway, maybe in "Red Skates" under false pretenses.

A certain "Earless Writer" can be anticipated in the "Piece of my heat" fight. In fact, the track has been submitted, so unless it didn't get sent properly? It will be there.
I haven't worked on a solo project in a few months... and I set some difficult goals for myself with my take on the theme, from a lyrical perspective. ...so...it's crunch time... I gotta finish work, whip home, lay down some drum tracks, finish my solo piece's drum tracks, go to hockey (can't skip out... I run the event...damn...cause I could use the time!!!) and then it's work tomorrow, work tomorrow night and then an alnighter Thurs.... took Friday off work to finish this thing...wish me luck... or not. I'm still gonna finish it... funny how this worked out , cause my topics' about a guy who had two successful jobs... you'll get it when I'm done... ok...watching the clock now.... work dragging on.... imitating poor june now.....fading....fading...

Yep, ya do.
Well, my tune is shaping up pretty wicked... gotta redo the lead solo, get's too wanky and I fear the reviews of C.Hack....otherwise, I"M PRETTY STOKED!!!
I'm in again this week with Red Skates.....a silly little ditty cooked up today. In my first fight, i was in with 18 others, second i was in with 23 others....hopefully this week I'll get the smaller fight. Not that I don't like competition and everything, I just want more than one vote...and no, i didn't vote for myself. Good luck all
Well thanks for the welcome. The humble side of me would like to make excuses (qualifiers) for my submission having heard some really great stuff on here. Then again, I've heard more than a few "not-so-hot" submissions before, so I'll try not to be too worried. Afterall, it's just a fight. HA!!
<==== and yes, this is a pic of me playing at the House of Blues on Sunset (How's that for "not humble"?)
