I had previously sent mine to Niveous, but I figured it was a good idea to also send it to the official address myself.

I plan to do at least one more of my giftee's picks, but I doubt I'll have it done by the deadline; I'll probably just post it here in the thread.

Okay, I think I have a guytar reprise arrangement for probably the drivin'est tune of my choices. Its probably not what the recipient would have wanted, but it's better than tube socks. However, I am going to try to do at least one more tune, though I'm afraid it won't translate well to acoustic. BUT, we'll see what happens.

If I get a guytar song for Christmas, I'm going to drink a bunch of whiskey and pound out a degrading song about whoever recorded it.

Just kidding.

I'd probably do the same or worse if I were unfortunate enough to get the recording I'm going to be giving.

But I will actually turn around and record a Guy and Casio cover of one of the songs from that person's list.

Maybe I'll do that for everybody that records a guytar number. But don't count on it.

I've been having a lot of trouble with mine. Probably didn't help that I was out of town and away from recording for 12 days... ouch!

OK, I'm starting to sweat my GOM now. My FireBox is still screwed! Plan B is to send it in to Presonus and get it fixed, which will take weeks. So I'll just go buy a new one, and sell the repaired one on ebay, or just keep it for more inputs or a spare. I really don't like plan B. 8)

I keep fiddling with mine as well. I'm excited about the selection, but just trying to do the right thing to make a it a good Ross cover.

It'll be in by the 10th, though. By the way, this means end of the day on the tenth? Worldwide?

I think I've finally got a pretty good guytars version of the tune I'm doing. I'm just gunna fester over the mix...possibly tweak a few notes in the vocals, and be done. It's finally something I feel I can present to yall and not be laughed at...a whole lot. :)

Incidentally, I bet you guys might be wondering how I could get guytars to be recognized by the dictation software. I mean, I know you are really dying to hear this. So, here is an audio tutorial on how to add a word in Dragon NaturallySpeaking:

Enjoy!

Mine's sorted.

I had a great time with this one this year. Really loved the song - which, though it was by one of my favourite bands of all time - I hadn't actually ever heard this song before. I feel like I've already received my GoM by being given this song to do.

I've fallen ill, and as such probably can't finish recording my vocals in time.

Sorry, giftee! You'll get a song, it just might not be on Thursday :(

Usually every year, I know who is going to give me my cover. This year, I'm so mentally burnt out- I can't remember for the life of me. Yay for surprises.
