Reviews are tough. So are votes. I guess that's why they don't call it "Song Snuggle!"halen99 wrote:I am OUT with a bang on this one. It's funny how the current fight reviews affect my motivation. It doesn't bother me but I know that positive comments for certain makes me want to write moreso.
Eddie
but seriously...
As far as I can tell, people don't enter SongFight! because it makes them feel good, they enter because they have a masochistic desire for forum abuse.DJ Big Dick wrote: Actually, it went further than downhill, it fell off a fucking cliff.

sorry. Maybe that bit was creepy.
Irwin: I'd sell my soul to jesus to program drums like signboy.

With A Bang
I don't usaully say anything ahead of time about my songs, but I just want to warn people in advance that I aware my With A Bang song this week did not come out good at all. Originally I was trying to create a reggaeton beat for it, but I was not able to do that, so it just sounds amateur and odd. Songfight is about learning and experimentation, so this week I was doing both.

Couldn't find the reggaeton button?MC Eric B wrote:Originally I was trying to create a reggaeton beat for it, but I was not able to do that, so it just sounds amateur and odd.

beats
Even when my Casio has a good beat on it for me to use, it still is just a boring loop and in no way is it an actual song. So, it takes some work for me to add other instruments to the loop so the song does not get repetitive/boring, and then make a chorus for the song which is totally different than the verses. But, it helps for me to at least have the Casio beat to start with.

Now this I gotta hear!Meatwad wrote:Klownhole is in for 'With a Bang'. For 2008 we decided to try going acoustic, unplugged if you will. We'll see if that makes a difference.adamadamant wrote:I'm in with a bang!
Oh, by the way, I just turned in "The Last Year". The song was written from my stepdad's perspective relaying what he said to me a few weeks after his cancer was surgically removed. But, don't let that deter you from being critical of my lyrics.
