Thank you all.

Just got Age of Empires II for Mac for my birthday. It is the only computer game I have ever really liked - but since I stopped using a PC almost 3 years ago, I haven't been able to play it. I'm looking forward to stomping on some villagers with an elephant.

Yes, happy birthday; it still is here. Keep partying until the day ends in the last time zone.

Although they've long ago dropped the matching service, you can still connect directly. Maybe I can play Age II with you some time.

No - today is my birthday. Where you are I am still a year younger (...hello ladies  )

EDIT....no - time clock says my birthday started 35 minutes ago. I'm still younger in Hawaii though.

One of my favorite games! It won't run on my new mac (I hope this isn't a problem you'll have) but I have really been enjoying Age of Mythology on it.

Happy day after!

It wont run on your new Mac?!?! That's a worry! Haven't loaded mine yet - but I just got a brand new Macbook. Hope I don't have a problem there too! I still have my older iMac though.

Couldn't get into Age of Mythology. Bit too..."mythological" for me. And I recently downloaded a free sample of AoEIII - but don't like it much either. I think the main thing is I really can't be arsed learning how to play a new game. I like AoEII and I see no reason to try anything else.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROSS!!! - you young whipper-snapper

(OK - I can't remember when your birthday really is - but I know it is somewhere around here)

I really just wanted to point you to this:

http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=410471

Like you said - Age of Empires II wouldn't run on my new Macbook - but the dudes on that forum showed me how to get it going. If that was your problem too - check it out. Just did the William Wallace learning campaign again. That was so sweet!. It's all coming back to me now!

This thread is starting to confuse me.

Happy (belated?) Birthday, Mr. Cashpoint?

I'll just wait until it's actually Ross' birthday, before I start messing with that.
