You could be in a different market than me, but I doubt it. Maybe that's something that's up to the individual franchisees...I don't know. But as far as all the Taco Bells around here, they don't carry chili anymore, so it quickly becomes impossible for them to make them. Maybe the one in town is just a bunch of flippin' douchebags. They won't make me a Bean Burrito Especial anymore, since a while after they gotten taken off the corporate menu, even though they still have all the ingredients. Bunch of alpaca-fuckers, they are.

No, it's not 'the market'. YES it is the individual franchisees. AND they ARE rare. There is only one in all of Tampa that sells them. THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE IT ON THE MENU. if it wasn't for Chili Cheese DOT ORG I would have never even known to ask. I asked, they make them, I order them. (like four of em' at a time and sh..) Although, the first time I ordered them, they made them really skimpy. Second time I told them to please not make them like that and they said that they would do them up and that they might have been running low on the chili that last time.Lord of Oats wrote:You could be in a different market than me, but I doubt it. Ah, 2038 N DALE MABRY AVE.
Awesome.
Yeah, you know, I really don't eat at Taco Bell anymore. Could be the whole "health" factor or whatever. Pff. But I guess I could make an exception if I come up. You'll have to help me find N DALE MABRY, though. That's one of those names I hear on Tampa radio all the time that has no meaning to me.

In that particular instance, I was in the mood for some of what are known in these parts as "bitch drinks," and as a lover of the authentic Mojito, I decided to try the cheap, weak rip-off sold under the Bacardi Silver brand. It just tastes like caraway soda. It's like drinking a loaf of sweet rye bread. What a huge mistake.HeuristicsInc wrote:Okay, so my question is, what did you buy?Lord of Oats wrote:Roll Call: I bought some alcohol today.

I love a good mojito.
I've always liked this line in that one song by that one band, can't think of their name. Oh well, they must not be very good, but I do remember they have a bad ass horn player.
See you bouncen 'round while you're sit'n in your seat-o
You give a little wink-o while you're sip'n your mojito

in reference to Taco Bells that still carry the Chili Cheese Burrito:

That WAS the Taco Bell when it was alive and kicking.
Its a sad time in Tampa history. That location just closed. I'd been going there for months for my fix and its the last one in all of Tampa Bay to carry this delicious creation.Lord of Oats wrote:Ah, 2038 N DALE MABRY AVE.
