Too cold today ... with windchill factored in, I heard it was -46 C ... man. Another reason to not live here when I'm older.

QOTD: What's the weather like outside as you read this?

My only complaint would be the wind. I ride my bike down a park sidewalk that is flush with a sea wall holding back Hillsborough Bay. The wind is at full force coming off of the water there and makes it a little tougher to ride .

Roll Call: No shows tonight. Gonna relax at home. Maybe start getting things ready for FAWM/RPM. I want to do two projects next month: a Citizen Six instrumental album, and another CD of drinkin' songs for this year's St. Patrick's Day shows. Cute Boots will likely be on that one.

34 degrees and cloudy. Tomorrow we're looking at a 100% chance of ice pellets. Awesome.

Sunny - 56°F at 1:42 pm - Feels Like 57°F

DRC: got some more updates to the covers archive posted this morning - even including all the coverfights, I never thought there was this much cover stuff! Beyond that, just trying to take care of a lot of little projects, make some phone calls, etc. Might even zone out for a couple hours this afternoon and watch a movie...

What a surprise!

Porltand is:

Lt Rain

41°F
(5°C)

Although, it HAS been alternating between rain/freezing rain/snow.

Plus it's windy, so it's nastier feeling.

It's insanely cold here today.

Yesterday it was a very pleasant 40 F (about 4 C). The snow banks started to melt. It felt like spring. I thought a caught a faint wiff of lilac on the breeze.

Today was the exact opposite. Right now it is -9 F (-23 C) with a wind chill factor of -43 (-42ish C). All that melt-y snow is now really slippery ice.

Tomorrow our weather icon is a thermometer with icicles hanging off of it!

I hate January / February

Speaking of January, we finally launched our new PeopleSoft system at work yesterday, and it went surprisingly better than I thought it would. The shit to fan ratio is fairly low right now. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Dude ... that's like 10 degrees. The temperature range from 10-20 degrees C is the best for me. Anything colder than -10 is bad, and anything hotter than 33 is too much.

Nobody ever does anything with my loops/raw tracks. :( Except random wankers on JamGlue who have essentially no taste, anyway.

Wait, you're in Silver Spring? My (former) roommate is from there! Neat!

So the weather here in Ohio is absurd. We had torrential freezing downpours all last night. I'm in Gambier, where we suffered some power flickers, but nothing major. Up in Cleveland, the power went out around 2AM and still hasn't come back. It's like 5 degrees (F), with 15mph winds. Yikes.

DRC: Doing pretty much nothing today. It's pretty cool.
