I really found that quite amazing. A few clicks of the mouse and suddenly my computer is talking to me with a voice from the other side of the world. I guess it isn't so dissimilar from a telephone - but my computer doesn't usually talk

Thank you everyone for you help on this, especially Spud and Roymond. I got it sorted. Had a video chat with Spud this morning. Isn't technology wonderful!
My daughter saw the video on the computer screen and thought it was The Wiggles. I'm not sure if she was disappointed or not that the new yellow Wiggle is now a large man with a beard. Maybe Octothorpe should consider wearing coloured skivvies.
