QotD: Yes. I kinda got volunteered to work today (Saturday) and stupidly agreed to it. But I got 8 hours overtime because I'm still not salaried yet.
While it sucked to have to work today, the office was quiet and the weather outside was "warming" up. It was like 32 whole degrees... that's zero for the celsius folks! There are bunny prints in the snow in our backyard and I heard the birds chirping for the first time in a couple of months. But, I bet Spring is just teasing us right now.
I went to Target after work and bought a bunch of girly hair products and stuff that smells good. I'm growing my hair out, ya see.
Then, when I got home, Phil made dinner and we all ate a the table again like a real family.

Be afraid Songfight. Be very afraid.
I just got a call from my wife who is in India. She is coming home this week and she has bought me 2 presents: a sitar and a pungi!
Be prepared for lots of songs about curry, cricket and telephone call centres.

I was just flipping channels on tv when I stopped on a program on History Channel called UFO Hunters. I don't know why I stopped there, but I did, and after a moment a guy came on the screen whose name struck a chord with me. Sure enough, after a few shots of the guy, it turns out he's someone I was in the army with some 20+ years ago. No big star or anything, but I was all pumped up by the coincidence of it all. Here's his show bio, the army stuff we shared. Small world! http://www.history.com/minisite.do?cont ... i_id=57826
