Complain about your schedule. Apparently people like that sort of thing.

Konnichiwa Songfighters,

I just came off of a long weekend filled with much ado with my son's aspergers, very long headches, visitors to my home, trying to write songs, and making some decisions on where I wanna go with making a band. Thanks to everyone around here who has given me advice on the latter, it's helped alot.

QotD:
Who are some of your favorite singers on Songfight?

QOTD: Three singers I really enjoy are Add, Boltoph, and of course m'boy Pedro.

Niv, regarding your headaches, I saw an infomercial this weekend that said you can cure 'em by taping lemons to your forehead. Anyone here ever tried that?

QotD: I guess I'm still a little wet behind the ears (8 months on Songfight, but only have ever gotten a little over a year in the archives). My favs include Melvin, Hostess Mostess (Though I haven't seen them on here in awhile), Worldly Self-Assurance, Glenn Case... there are really a ton, I couldn't put them on here, but those came to mind first.

DRC: I'm going to stop drinking for X month(s) with the possible exception of March 9th.

Why:
1. Wasting too much time drinking.
2. Wasting too much time recovering from drinking.
3. Its starting to mess with my anxiety. (again)
4. Empty calories.

All of these things are keeping me from exercising and music development. I took six months off of drinking two other times in my life. Was better off for it too.

QOTD: Frankie BF, Jeff ADD, Brad (sucks),
I guess I'm oldskool.

QotD: Melvin (of course), Lonbobby, Bradsucks, Posyden(if rapping counts), Merisan, Bjam... heck there are alot I could put here.

I might be doing a new song today (not for SF) but only if Kyle (aka Posyden my Destruction Enterprise bandmate) gives me the finished music today. If so then it'll be our 6th song, although it'll be our 4th song we actually keep since Ran Away to Paris and We Are Perfect in Our Dreams both sucked ass. lol

It's a day off from work so most of my day is gonna be resting and playing Rock Band. (gamertag is RoneRivendale if anyone else plays Rock Band OR Dead or Alive 4 and wants to play sometime)
From spoken word to actual singing, I can screw up any style with style. :D

qotd: Melvin, Erin from Merisan, Boltoph, FBF, Bjam, Jeff Travis Henderson ... There's a lot more, but those are the only names that come to mind.

QOTD: Paco Del Stinko. I'd really like to hear Paco let loose one day, like Danzig. I think he'd rip a hole in the universe.
anti-m has a cute voice with a ton of range.
I really like J$'s voice. He has a very professional sound.
I've always liked Brad Sucks.
Heather Redmon has a great female punk voice.
Caravan Ray has a great old school sound and pretty much perfect pitch.
Frankie Big and the faces has always hit home with me. Such a wonderfully imperfect voice that he can make any song a hit.

There are many more, but that's all I can think of at the moment.

DRC: The sun is shining and the surf is up. 10 to 15 ft faces, woo hoo! I have a ton of work all day, woo crap! 8)

edit: Just got a call from my bud right after I posted this. We're going to hit the beach when he gets off work, woo fuckya!

If anything, shouldn’t alcohol help you with anxiety? It should help you relax at least.

qotd: Everyone who sings memorably. (I don't much care for most of the rappers here, and all of the good rappers also know how to sing memorably.) There are too many axes on which people can be excellent here and I do not care to specify.

drc: A few weeks ago I got an eye exam and a new prescription and I ordered my glasses online from a place in Hong Kong. The glasses were great, but the prescription wasn't. Unfortunately it seems it's the doctor who messed up, so I've got to go back to the eye doctor with the new glasses and be all 'see look these glasses are the prescription you gave me, but the prescription you gave me is way too strong and makes me dizzy and my eyesight is better without glasses at all than it is with these stupid things on.' (I have been using my old glasses in the meantime. The prescription on them is still fine, really, it's just that the lenses are less pristine than they could be.)

Also I am very tired. I woke up at 6 AM and couldn't get back to sleep.

There aren't too many voices that I don't like, but some of my faves not yet mentioned are Boltoph, BLT (not because of what you said about me)Phil Wages, Roymond and KA...too many. I can honestly say that my voice is one of my least liked, and I'm not just knocking myself. I'm pretty much with Fluffy. Yay team!
