4 fights in, guess it's time to say hi

Post by fretnoize »

So I'm on my 4th fight now, even thought they're spanned across years. Technically 6th fight as I worked with someone before on fights(OutBax). I figured I should probably introduce myself. Currently living in NH, it's kind of boring and there are a lot of fat girls. Um, main instrument is guitar, but I have a background in synthesis as well. But this doesn't mean I can play keyboards. I usually work in video games, although not at the moment.

I found out about song fight because years back a gaming news site linked to Frontalot's website in a nerdcore article which I read. I thought most of those in the article sounded very amateur except for Frontalot who seemed to know what he was doing. I checked out his website and in one of his songs I think he mentioned songfight, or he had a songfight section and I was curious what that was all about.

I'd list some bands I like, but it gets long. I like Rock, Metal, Punk, some Hip Hop, old old country, Industrial, Synthpop, New Wave, Goth, candle light dinners and walks on the beach.

I don't think I'm doing anything too special, but if anyone has questions about the gear I'm using or what ever feel free to ask. I like talking about that stuff.

Hello, guy that's been here longer than me. Seems like an unusually large NH gang here, considering the size of the state. Your song that is up now sounds like a Songfight! baby I would name Fluffy Redmon. Stick around! :)

I'm not an NH native though. Been here under a year... Was living out in Santa Monica for a while, and originally from MA.

Is funspot that castle looking thing by guitar center? (Man, Nashua is a pain to get to)

I'll meet you At The Arcade! oh man, sorry I'm not really big on puns, guess it slipped out.

Known famously for their original arcade game collection, Funspot is up at Weirs Beach on Lake Winnepesaukee. It may be quite exciting for you to visit, as you're involved in video games.

I was born and raised in Massachusetts as well. God save the Commonwealth!

I try to be awesome, but I usually fail. I suspect I'll mostly be writing rock/punk tunes for song fight, but you never know...
