Came up with an interesting concept idea for Radio Ready, but, as usual with me, it depends on whether or not I can get it done in time.
Hope so, in my head it looks like it'll be fun to do.

EDIT: Ok, concept song is out--I still would love to do it, but wayyy too much would be involved for one week, and I got stuff I have to do this week too. Will probably throw together a pretty generic song this week.EmbersOfAutumn wrote:Came up with an interesting concept idea for Radio Ready, but, as usual with me, it depends on whether or not I can get it done in time.

Why would you want to do that? There's a reason I buried Jennifer Rush alive under that mountain of vomit ...adrift in a draft wrote:How about - optional challenge for Purple Tongue : 80s Power BalladStu wrote:I have a feeling Radio Ready will be flooded with songs and Purple Tongue will get very few entries.
That said, i have an inkling for this one ... fingers crossed (that I do, or don't, depending on your inclination)

Disaster! My hard drive seems to have died. I'm going to try to get something done, but I don't know if it'll happen.
Worse is that I haven't backed much up since I got this computer (~year and a half old) so if my hard drive is truly done, all source files for songfight are gone. All I have are the mp3s. I might have lost a lot of pictures, email, & recordings. So, yeah, PSA to back up your data.

Thanks for the tip, fretnoize (Gary?). I'll watch that. I did find this article though: Seagate 2.5-inch Hard Drive Flaw Affecting MacBooks? which is referring to the hard drive I have, so I'm worried I won't be able to get anything.
I'm going to try to record something for "Purple Tongue" on ye old analog 4 track and transfer to another computer.

I recommend burning a DVD of every project upon completion (like the one I just made of Radio Ready). Don't delay this activity.fretnoize wrote:That's horrible!!! I gotta start backing up.TheCapitalistYouth wrote:Disaster!
