i'm using cubase LE and i'm trying to import a .wav file (drum track from FL Studio) into my project. it all seems to work fine, and i can see the track and everything, but when i play it, i don't hear anything (and i don't see a signal on the mixer either). any idea why this might be happening?

Is the channel muted?
Is the channel fader all the way down?
Is the track being output to the master buss (as opposed to the Audition buss, or some other one)?
Is the master buss muted?
Is the master fader all the way down?
Is Cubase configured to use your sound card, and use the correct audio outputs?
Does this only happen to imported tracks, or recorded tracks also?
Are you actually trying to import the track into Notepad instead of Cubase? That hardly ever works.
Also, screenshots > no screenshots.

OH! I know this one! And no one answered it yet! I can help on this one! 
*clears throat* If you are putting a stereo wav file on a mono track, it won't work, and vice versa.
1. Simply change the track that your wav file is on to stereo if it's set to mono.
2. If your wav file is a stereo loop that you are adding to a track with other mono music on it, you need to give it it's own track or export it and make it the same as the music on the track you are adding it to.
