Sleater-Kinney, any album after The Hot Rock. Broke my damn heart when they broke up after The Woods, the best damn rock album of all time. I just got The Woods on vinyl (2 discs-one lime green, the other brown with wood grain) so I could hear that brutality with maximum fidelity. All Hands On The Bad One and One Beat are great, too.
