Re: April 29, 2008
QOTD: I'm still a dab hand at breaking into places. The only use this has been put to recently has been to enter my own place when we forgot the key, but myself and Father Boy actually broke into the house across the road from his, because we could. Man, that sounds so shady. It was empty and for sale, and we had known the people. We were just curious.
I fostered some skills in forgery, but I didn't develop them to the extent of Spud. And its not a crime per se, but I am a fantastic liar.
Its worth noting that all of this is pretty much stuff that they teach in schools down here. Its not rough or anything, its just that the morals down here are pliable.

I think the payoff would be worth whatever effort it took.fluffy wrote: There's a few other pranks I thought of doing but never got around to implementing... for example, the computer lab computers didn't have sound cards, but it was possible to control the "beep" in both duration and pitch and so I thought of making a special mp3 decoder which would send each frequency to a different computer with the idea that it'd sound like weird noise through most of the room but if you stood in one particular spot you'd hear a reasonable facsimile of the song. I never got around to implementing it though since it would have taken a lot of work for very little payoff.

They may have to teach you that stuff in South Australia - but that's because you lot never had convicts down there. Those of us from the eastern states who are decended from good convict stock still have the criminal tendancies naturally in our veins.sausage boy wrote: Its worth noting that all of this is pretty much stuff that they teach in schools down here. What does that have to do with having criminal skills? Being straight edge means no alcohol, no smoking and no recreational drugs. It's more about not getting involved in dependent lifestyles. Knowing how to pick a lock or being skilled at sneaking into a building has nothing to do with being sXe or not.Rone Rivendale wrote:I'm what's known as "Straight Edge".

I suppose that one was, at first, about breaking the law deliberately and sticking it to the man. On the other hand, peer pressure is incredibly persistent and rapidly becomes unbearably annoying, and it apparently boosts your badass status when you help people do things they really have no business doing in the first place.

Re: April 29, 2008
I have always thought thats our problem. The filth isn't in our veins. Which is why we get caught so often. Plus we put in a lot of Churches to try and offset the crookedness. Go figure. Its just like South Australians (and Adelaide in particular) to be indecisive and wishy-washy.Caravan Ray wrote:They may have to teach you that stuff in South Australia - but that's because you lot never had convicts down there. From spoken word to actual singing, I can screw up any style with style.
