Robot Candidate
Robot Candidate - Paco del Stinko
They said I fit the suit
Cuz I can dance the poot
Well, I told'em where to go
Make like the wind and blow
You can't put me in no can
I don't wanna be no Iron Man
I'd rather hide under a burka
Than be filled with all your circuits
I won't be no robot-you can't make me
I don't wanna get snowballed-you can't rape me
I honed my show stop-you can't forsake me
I told you not to call-you won't erase me
A candidate for reconstruction
Technology from the land of the sun
They want to give me a robotic function
Pushing buttons to bring on my compunction
They took me to a lab
And they put me on a slab
They brought out their tool box
But I told them all to walk
They insisted I be built
And they gave it to me one more time with guilt
I told them all to go to hell
But that's when they rang my bell
A candidate for reconstruction
Technology from the land of the sun
They want to give me a robotic function
Pushing buttons to bring on my compunction
Doped up with anesthetics
They brought over all the parts
I saw micro-chips and prosthetics
And then an artificial heart
I woke up in a bed
With a whirring in my head
But when I yelled for help
I only heard a squelch
If I had feelings left - I'd be irate
Why was I such a good - robot candidate?

Re: Robot Candidate
emotions come and feelings go
it is the way it is
you look at me and I don't know what you want from me
take everything you find
the odd tear in a pile of junk
the anger, love and joy
hold no meaning at all
you always need what I can't give,
and I don't even feel bad
I would have been, I could have been
a great robot
take it all I have no use
for memories and moments
I might as well be made of steel
just take your hopes and hold them
this machine can ner love you
never care for how you feel
I'm damned without a sould to burn
and I don't even feel bad
you go down to your knees
and I don't understand
you can beg you can plead
but I won't understand
all these things that you need
and I can't understand
if you cut me I bleed
but I can't understand
I would have been, I could have made
a great robot
it is the way it is

They say "in the end, may the best man win",
so build a better man -a Robot Candidate.
Watch him slashing through the red tape.
May the best man win..
He's got a five-point plan for the everyman,
Robot Candidate.
He's gonna tax it up, he'll tax it at an insane rate.
We built a better man.
Aborted stem cell goo in his cpu:
he's an organic-al man,
and now he's smashing, yeah he'll smash it all,
he'll smash right through the red states.
Electorate electrified,
they're howling for Nader..
this guy's Unsafe at Any Speed..
Oh you know he's a pro, but he's anti-life..
your days are numbered, cuz it's too late to ctrl+alt+delete
So wring your hands, throw your flash drive in,
and surrender to Him: the Robot Magistrate.
He put a neat tin can on the sovereign man.
He's so mechanical!
So fuckin' logical!
No need to fight: sit down, things will be better when we're metal,
we'll share an icy stare, and render all unto Him.

No human government
could ever be adequate
encumbered by confusion
enslaved by emotions
No human president
could ever be competent
don't throw your vote away
there's a robot candidate
No more corruption.
No more special interests.
No more human weakness.
Robots don't give a shit.
(drum break)
(wankage)
No more useless ideas.
No more useless people.
Serve the machine.
we can all be equal.

Danny always got injured, and
Ginger always got high, but
Roland never tires...
gone to local music store
post an ad to find a bandmate
need a brand-new drummer
prefer one that can syncopate
that's when we met Roland
he seemed the perfect candidate...
NO OTHERS NEED APPLY
DON'T BOTHER TO EVEN TRY
THEIR DECISION'S BEEN MADE
THEY PICKED THE ROBOT CANDIDATE
never has a broken stick
never needs to ice his wrist
Roland, yeah he never tires...
Our boy Roland's just beats and wires

Robot Candidate
How do you find a face that you know you could face forever?
And how do you set a date when you know that the date will last for ever and ever and ever and ever and…?
Well, I’ve got this friend you see
Did I mention it’s not me?
He saving all his money
For a robot
With the body of a supermodel
And the hardware of a Super Nintendo
How do you find your fate when all the hot fates always have boyfriends?
How do you find a body that will still get your body up when it’s older and older and older and older and…?
Well, I’ve got this friend you see
Did I mention it’s not me?
He saving all his money
For a robot
With the body of a supermodel
And the hardware of a Super Nintendo
Never was a friend you see
It was only just me
And I’m saving all my money
For that robot

Andrew Android
Works in a factory
He's designed for
Welding automobiles
But he dedicates
His efforts
to the welfare
Of his fellow machines
Gray matter or microchips
What matters is not equipment
But all the hopes and dreams
Deep in your soul
Cindy Cyborg
Out on the oil rig
Does the dirty jobs
That humans won't do
Still she holds out hope
That someone will
Realize that
Robots are people too
Gray matter or microchips
What matters is not equipment
But all the hopes and dreams
Deep in your soul
And so we hope and pray that
Soon there will come a day with
Freedom for
All who pass the Turing test
They'll open up their eyes
And finally recognize
There's nothing artificial
About our intelligence
Not content as
Third class citizens
We'll make certain
That our voices are heard
Well put forth
A robot candidate
representing
What we bring to the world
Gray matter or microchips
What matters is not equipment
But all the hopes and dreams
Deep in your soul

You're the same as everyone and everyone's the
same, lame reproductions (start again)
No, you're not the same as anyone, but everyone's the
same, lame reproductions, with no repercussions
it functions like robotic toxic shock: they rök
the words you drop (they drop the words you rök)
But you could rise above it all—and
Turn on, tune in, drop out
The circuitry is still within its infancy
but the lunacy is well within us, you and me
You're a candidate to have your soul removed
By means not specified
You follow nothing, like the rest of us
No heart on the inside ...
Stick the needle in and let's begin. Flick the
switch and ditch the shiftless thinning sin you're in
These are your days of wine and roses, the countless
slumbering though your days are numb and numbered, it's coming
Walk toward the light if that's the way you feel
Talk and dim the lights if nothing else is real
I know you feel it, I can read it on the screen
I know you're reeling but don't know what it means
