So I have a job interview today, for this media company. Fairly high profile place, so much so, I had to go out and buy a suit for the interview. I always forget how much I like suits until I get into one again.

QOTD: What are you favourite clothes?

Camouflage cut off shorts, bright colored tee-shirt with a badly contrasting (opposite-like) Hawai'ian shirt over it, boots of some sort. It took my wife a while to get used to that, heh... and oh hey, it's summery weather again

Or if I'm not in the mood to make people physically ill, blackish tee & blue jeans.

OK, I'm a cliche - but I always wear an Akubra hat (the Cattleman) and Blundstone boots (Blunnie 058s). What happens between those is fairly irrelevant.

Similarly, I used to have a "Beach Boys" shirt I was very fond of - but I wore it so much it literally fell apart



Probably just as well I don't have it any more. My daughter doesn't know who the Beach Boys are - she would call it a Bannanas in Pyjamas shirt

I'm a jeans and t-shirts guy. I switch between sneakers and boots. I always wear hoodies, currently black but currently I've been sporting a blue one.

T-shirts usually aren't plain, Faves include:
The Crow graphic novel
A wraparound Dragon with Chinese lettering
A Chinese samurai/falconer
AFI Red Days Tour shirt with snakes coming out of a heart
Pac Man Fast Food t-shirt
New York Department of Transit (which is funny to wear into work and confuse people)

I have a tie-dye shirt that I got at the flea market in 1990, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Dead... only worn for special occasions and generally not washed unless it was a VERY sweaty show. I also have the skull & roses shirt I wore for my wedding and my graduation for ASU and am saving to be cremated in... other than that, clothes just aren't a big deal to me...

QOTD: I love clothes and I too like to mix it up. Mainly in the summer though I dumb down for practicality which usually equates to sandals, earth color shorts, t-shirt or cutoff button up.

I LIKE to dress in jeans, wingtips (or mid top boots when I have them), solid color t-shirt and vest. If not t-shirt vest combo, then a short sleeved button up...solid but sometimes maybe with a curious pattern. (chillier months that turns into a white t-shirt underneath the button up and or longsleeve)

I love hats and ties too.

I have always been a boring dresser. (Although when it's colder or when I'm on stage I'll wear an unbuttoned button-down shirt over the t-shirt.)

That's a good idea. I have a a Tshirt from the Newcastle Knights first Grand Final win in 1997. I have been treating it as a holy relic and have never worn it. It would make ideal crematorial attire.

I'm a t-shirt kinda guy. Dark and plain, or not too elaborate a print, and only with a logo or message I don't mind offering free advertising for. I have a couple of SF! tees, but one of my faves is from the Frontier restaurant in Albuquerque. Has a big picture of the Frontier Roll (a giant cinnamon bun) on the back. I had my ladyfriend make a quilt out of my old tees, it's pretty neat. Jeans, boat shoes or high-top sneakers mostly, even in winter.

Oh man, I could totally go for some Frontier tortillas right now.

Actually I do have a bunch of their green chili in my freezer.

Ahh, Frontier. I live three blocks away, so I enjoy that special luxury of actually getting sick of their food now and then. Ate some hangover food there this morning. Good stuff. The owners are jerks, tho. And don't trust the "fresh squeezed O.J." - my gal and I both worked there, at different times, and those oranges were always like, almost half of 'em moldy. We were the only ones who bothered to separate them out. Gross-out. Well, maybe that's changed. I kinda doubt it, but, yeah.. good food.

The outsides may be moldy but the insides are still freshly-squeezed.

Not surprising that they'd be jerks though. I mean the restaurant's been basically a 24-hour haven for college students and bums for close to 40 years. You'd be a bit bitter after that long too.

Frontier: I always wondered if anyone ever saw the bottom of the chile pot as well. No matter, that place is great. Breakfast burrito, Frontier roll, and (moldy) OJ is a recipe for success any day. And best tortillas this side of someone's grandma. When I lived out there, they had actually stopped staying open 24 hours, until everyone raised such a ruckus they opened up again. Who wants to go to Milton's anyway?

Strangely enough, they started closing at midnight again. It's time for another ruckus.

Non-moldy insides? Yeah, ok, still grosses me out, but that's cool.
