Five Years

Post by GlennCase »

I am sure there was a thread for this, but I can't seem to find it despite my best efforts. Hell, I'm pretty sure Fluffy even revisited/re-recorded a good number of compositions at the five year mark.

Nevertheless, I noticed that 'Gonna Be Your Man' was the title 5 years ago, so it's safe to say that I discovered Songfight approximately five years ago this week. Strange how these things work. It's probably cliche' to say this, but it fits:

It feels like it's been longer, yet not that long ago at all.

I'm certainly glad I found this place, though. Thanks, Front!

ROCK!

Actually, it was five years ago last week. I was late posting it.

Gonna Be Your Man is the fight where I met Blue Lang in person. Ryan and I went to his studio to meet and hang out. We ended up recording the drums for mine and the back up tracks for Marcus Kellis that day.

I think shortly after that we all went up to Seattle for Songfight Live.

Yes, that show was very soon after Songfight Live Seattle when the Suzies went on "tour".
