Actually, I was indicating the 's' sound by the ssssssssssound a sssssssssssssnake makesssssssssss. The '!' was to make you think about what the snake was saying.

Edit: Also the background color is Puce...at least according to Wikipedia :-)

The worst part of new songfight vs. old songfight is the lack of smu posts.

So did we just kind of forget about the two I posted that haven't been solved? Or do you guys need hints? One of them is redundant now.

Yes, and I think the other one is Elysian Ring, whoever that is.

Yes, the halo is Elysian Ring.

No, Scotty does not represent Finding Nemoy.

I suppose there's an argument for him, but he's not who I had in mind. I was thinking of someone who entered many fights, won a handful, and was an active member of the community for a long time.

Is the Scotty one Too Fat To Be A Rockstar?

heh

EDIT: Given your above hints, I'm probably not right. But my point still stands: heh.
Also, I probably outweigh Scotty at the time that photo was taken.

Nope and nope.

Although it's Star Trek's Scotty in the picture, I'm not so much interested in Scotty or Star Trek for this puzzle.

It might be *too* obscure (not the Songfighter, but the route I took to get there).

Scotty was played by James Doohan (Jim Tyrrell?) who was born in Vancouver (Jim of Seattle?)
Scotty's full name was Montgomery Scott (Balls to Monte?)
Or is it maybe a reference to one of the many many aliases drew entered under?

Hmm. I was working on the misinformation that Doohan was from Seattle.

Yep, Jim of Seattle. The other one with the same answer was better.
