Ready Acoustics Chameleon Bass Traps
Ready Acoustics Chameleon Bass Traps
anyone familiar with these bass traps? apparently i won a monthly contest off of americanmusicalsupply.com for a set of 16 of these bad boys. i saw on zzounds and american musical that they retail for about 340. for a pair of them... so i'm pretty pumped that i have a set of 16 on the way. I'm unfamiliar with them though, anyone have any experience?

Wow, congrats. Those are really nice panels! Do you have a room you record in? Put them in the corners and you'll really tighten up the sound of the room. Very lucky indeed.

Re: Ready Acoustics Chameleon Bass Traps
thank's man, i never win anything... especially songfights
i do have a room... does it matter how big the room is? Also, can i make an isolation booth out 4 of these or would that deaded the sound too much? i've never tried to acoustically treat a room, right now i use a walk in closet for vocals and whatnot... but unfortunately i'm moving to a new place which won't have the same room setup as i have right now, so i'll probably have to record in my living room.
either way i have 16 of them, i may try and sell a few and put it towards some rack equipment... or beer, i havn't decided yet.
