if you're done with yours, contact Eddiebangs and send him your song or a link (I don't know which he prefers)

In the meantime, if anyone is still waiting on a song- Post here that you're waiting (NOT WHAT YOU ARE WAITING FOR) and I will accomodate ASAP.

And if you are done already (a month ahead of time), please feel free to do another cover, maybe even collaborate on another one.
When you are finished, please PM me with the following info:
1- URL to the song
2- Your name
3- Title of song and Name of original artist
4- Name of who requested the song
5- Any comments you would like listed with your cover
6- A link to your website

I will host songs only for those who beg me, otherwise please use your own webspace or mooch off someone else. (Call me the Grinch, I don't care) I will attempt to have the page up as soon as possible after the deadline, probably the next day. Any late entries will be added as they arrive, but this is frowned upon and I will probably call you a loser publicly. Any questions, problems, or gripes post here or pm me and you will most likely be promptly ignored. (Just kidding- looking forward to hearing everyone's work!)

Eddie, remember that, uh....thing.... you had to do right around the deadline that is going to make it so you can't get the website up for at least a week after the 21st? Remember that? Well, when you do, let us know that the deadline is effectively more like the 28th.

OK?? PLEASE???

This may be the case with mine also, considering I haven't quite started yet. I'll be working hard on it this weekend once my finals are finally finalized.

Seeing as problems are springing up everywhere (even I might be late as I blew out the right channel on my 4-Track), I think an extension would be a good thing. Plus, Sober Irishman wanted to be a last minute addition to the GoM.

So here's the deal:
If you can get me one more band into the GoM to be the giftgiver for Sober (and thusly the gift receiver from Sober) then I'll give an extension.

Look at me trying to wheel and deal . Of course, I'm gonna give the extension but Sober deserves a GoM song. He didn't get one last year (The Woodward gave him a lump o' coal instead).

Is anyone able to host my GoM song? Ive got some webspace but not much bandwith. Id hate for only 10 people to get to download my song a day or something.
I also really dislike the extension. Your just allowing us to procrastinate even more. Ill have mine done by the 17th just to keep the original plan in mind.

OK. I'm willing to give the extension. Hey, there was one last year too so it's tradition. But when should it be due? The original date was the Winter Solstice. The new date should be a holiday too. So, the due date is now January 10th, one of the best holidays ever- Peculiar People Day.

Sober- send me your MP3's now and hurry!

Oh, fucking sweet. Now I can spend the next two days on this week's SF song and work on the holiday one after Christmas. Thanks, Niv. Big help.

I'd finished mine - but I wasn't real happy with it - so the extension may help me improve things a bit. Cool.
I'm also finally going to fork out some readys for a new microphone set up over xmas - so with a bit of luck I'll have that up and going to clean my act up a bit

Thank you SO MUCH, Niveous. What a relief. I want to do a good job on this song, and it's started out really cool, so I'm glad now it can continue to become cool.

Also, remember, January 10 is also the start date for SongWar (or S'Long Fight)

Hmm.. at least the extension will give my fatigued ears a break. I've got the mix and rough vocals done, but they sound muddier than I hoped. I was pretty excited about getting a song done BEFORE the original day it's due :-). Though this leaves more time to write songs about pancakes. Because really, isn't that what the season is all about?

Yeah, the 15-16 thing was making the 21st very difficult to pull off, but I couldn't say why exactly I couldn't finish!

Umm, could the mysterious person who volunteered to cover TSI's songs PM me just so I know that it's not me?

I sent niv a PM saying that if nobody else was signing up, that I would, but I won't be able to work on it 'til the new year. And haven't heard back anything indicating that I am or am not "in..."

Or if it is me, niv, could you PM me and let me know??? I know that countless others are hoping it's not me, but I did make the offer...

I think I'll have a happy mix by the 21st. Is it ok to put up a link to it anyway?

I am grateful for the *unjustified* extension. I am *inexcusably* unable to submit by the 21st. Peculiar people day will be a happy day. Except for Marcus.
