Alright. I think this is how this is going to work.

LAST MINUTE DECISIONS

CHOSEN HASTILY AND WITHOUT THOUGHT

Turns out I have a couple of old songs. And a couple of newer songs. I tried to pick four songs that sound nothing alike so someone will perhaps like at least one of them.

Tom Waits - Ol' 55
Gary Numan - Are 'Friends' Electric?
The Killers - When You Were Young
Coldplay - Viva La Vida

AHAA there you go.

NOW I will get you some links to things just a bit later on.

These are great songs. I encourage everyone to work tirelessly producing as many covers of them as they possibly can.

In.

Songs.

Baby Come Back - Player
Every Little Step - Bobby Brown
Wicked Game - Chris Isaak
Bootylicious - Destiny's Child

Oh, and one request - if the cover could be in a style different from the original.
Everything But the Girl but without the scary big chinned woman

It would be crime to mess with Baby Come Back - Player. It is perfect just the way it is. The hair, the satiny shirts, the chorusy guitars. It doesn't get any better than that.

I just had someone randomly pick the pairings. PMs coming soon.

If you get someone that you have given a "gift of music" to before, tell me so I can make a switch.

OK lets go.

And whoever gets me - if the youtube stuff i posted isn't good enough - I can email mp3s, but I don't have any webspace at the moment to post links to. If you want mp3s emailed - maybe PM Niv and he could act as some sort of go-between (OK Niv?)

Grow a set.
I remember a song once that Adam did with boxes, rubber bands and I think an egg beater and it was awesome! From that day forward, I have never questioned his musical ingenuity, nor my lack of instruments.
