Complain about your schedule. Apparently people like that sort of thing.

November 7th of 08

DRC: So I was suprised to see no one had made a thread yet today. Got thru with a 5 day in a row swing at work. Got Saturday off and then work 2 more days before getting Tuesday off. Gotta hate schedules that change your days off almost every week.

QotD: This is probably the lamest qotd ever but... How many hours a week do you work?

For me it's between 35 and 38 a week. Pretty much I work as much as possible without being paid as a full time worker. Bastards! :P
From spoken word to actual singing, I can screw up any style with style. :D

And do you mean how much you actually work - or the actual hours you are paid to be working. That varies greatly, depending on whether I am working in the public or private sector.

HaHaHa! First thing I thought when I read his Q of the day.

For instance. Doing song reviews here is way more work than I do on a regular bases, mainly because I type with one finger. But I'm one fast and fairly accurate mo foe. :P

Tell him you we perfectly right in the first place. Tell him you periodically service the natational facilities at nearby military establishments - hence you do work at regular bases.

Actually it's Mo foe. I was referring to my adversary, Mo for stealing my chowder recipe!

drc: Have my daughter over this weekend. I missed her.
qotd: 7 am to 3:30 pm monday to friday. If asked to work weekends, I politely tell my boss to fuck off. This equals 40 hours. I actually *work* about half of that time. FUCK THE SYSTEM!

If I work more than 45 hours, my managers and I get in trouble.

I think I put in like 51 last week.

That's a personal record, probably.

Let's see if we can break it this week.

A little tip for fellow coddled white-collar workers: don't watch How It's Made and think about the people who are doing the work and what their work hours and pay are like, unless you want to feel bad about yourself.

Heh!! Totally.

I don't know how I live with myself considering what I get paid compared to what I pay other people to do all the shitty stuff that I don't want to do.

But the beautiful thing is - because I have spent most of my life as a public servant, I can still read Marx and complain about the bourgeoisie without being a complete prat! (....well, OK - maybe that isn't completely true).

Whatever - long live socialism...and pour me another chardonnay.
