Thanksgiving leftovers FTMFW!

I always make plenty of food for Thanksgiving for a few reasons. One, so everyone has plenty to eat. Two, so people can take home some leftover for a midnight munchathon or a turkey sangwich. Three, my awesome Thanksgiving potpies. I'm not much of a potpie lover, except for mine.
1. Buy as many of the two packs of frozen pie crusts as you'll need. (fuck making them from scratch)
2. Make a rue gravy from leftover turkey juice (or a can of chicken broth, what ev!)
3. Load the pie shell with EVERYTHING! Load it high with chopped up turkey, stuffing, mashed taters, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, broccoli, asparagus, corn, peas (I don't like peas in mine) etc, what ever you have. Pour the gravy over everything, give it a light fold around.
4. Put the second pie crust on top of the huge mound of T day love.
5. Moisten the edge with egg white, then crimp and flute the edges so they stay together.
6. Brush the top with melted butter and bake it until golden brown, per pie instructions. Be sure to do the traditional vent slits on the top crust, or it will rip open in an unbecoming manner.
Let it stand for 5 minutes. Cut and plate up a huge slice and pour a good amount of gravy over the slice of pie, and a scoop of cranberry sauce on the side. With a green salad, it's the shiz!
I make as many T day pot pies as I can and freeze them. I got 3 this year (2 turkey and one ham) and we ate a turkey one tonight. I couldn't wait, lol. It was so good, it inspired me to type all this shit. .....well, that and the rum.
