hm, i don't think i entered a single songfight this year.

but occasionally, i still come around and spout meaningless nonsense. like now.

oh yeah, i DID go to songfight live hot and sweaty and played live. i guess that counts for something.

there's always next year! :)

(in fact, brody reunion for a new years party this year!)

DRC: The Zoo finally got back to me with a formal "no." So I guess there's no reason now for me not to reveal that they're AT&T. Take what you will from what happened to me. Might have been an isolated incident, or it might be part of a large pattern of inept HR handling.

QotD: I think I recorded five songs this year. Wrote a few more, which maybe you'll get to hear sometime soon.

drc: Had a holiday party at work. Got no actual work done.

qotd:
Just one Song Fight song, Everybody Calm Down

However I did record 10 tracks for foodsexsleep. All of those are remakes of songs which are Song Fight related (most of them fights I entered, a couple ones I never got around to finishing the first time around, and a few from my aborted AAW). I do have a couple other half-finished tracks which are all-new for the album but they're not coming together so well.

Also I forget, was all the Purple Tapes stuff this year? Because I collaborated with BLT on his 'For You'

Also I have participated in way too many snipefests on the forum.

That was a fun song to do. I think we both entered uncharted territory by the time it was done. The best part was tossing it back and forth until it was as good as we could make. In fact, I'm going to go listen to it right now, I haven't heard it since I did the video. I was pretty much sick of it by the end of that project.

edit: yep, just listened a couple times. Cool tune.

Thats kind of funny. If I wrote 100 songs, goin by my usual 1:30 to 2:30 song length, it would be less than 3 hours. :P
From spoken word to actual singing, I can screw up any style with style. :D
